“The light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it.” (John 1:5).
It is time to re-commit to racial justice, equity, and to confronting White privilege and all of its manifestations. People are looking for hope in the presence of violence, bigotory and hate. It is incumbent on the church and church members to be witnesses of that hope. Will you hold up a candle in the presence of the darkness?
