What is the best way for me to give?
Set up Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)

The most effective way to give is through PAR (pre-authorized remittance). PAR is an automatic debit from your bank or credit union where 100% of your donation goes to Peninsula United. To sign up or for more info, please return this form to the Church Office to the attention of Val Austring. It is the best way to give to Peninsula United, because…

  • 100% of your donation goes directly to Peninsula United
  • you decide annually the monthly gift that you would like to make, and you can change it if your circumstances change
  • your gift counts even on the Sundays you aren’t able to attend worship
  • the church is able to plan ahead for our ministries

PLEASE NOTE: If you make a contribution via CanadaHelps.org, your charitable receipt will come directly from Canada Helps for the full amount of your donation. It is important to save, print, or download it so you have it for tax time, as Peninsula United Church cannot issue another receipt for this type of donation.  (Tax receipts for the other types of donations -- cash, cheque, PAR, and eTransfer -- will come from Peninsula United Church.)

Bring your offering to the church

You can place your cheque or cash in the offering box on Sunday morning worship services or drop it off at the church office during the week. Contact the church office for more information.

Gift of Securities

Gifts of publicly traded securities are an attractive option for donors. When you transfer to the United Church gifts of shares, bonds, bills, warrants, futures, or units of mutual funds listed on a prescribed public stock exchange, you will not pay tax on any capital gain.

Planned Giving

Consider incorporating PUC into your long-term financial planning by including us in your will or end-of-life arrangements. This kind of gift is a commitment to the ministry of your church that reaches beyond your own life and into the future.
