Joyous news to share from Tierra Nueva, El Salvador!

Our families, working together, have made exciting progress on the house repairs.  

Hear are some photos of the work that is being done. One photo shows teamwork on building forms for a corner cement column and another is of a man working on rebar that provides structure to the columns. Notice the hand made ladder leaning against an existing wall that was constructed 10 years ago of a cement mix over bamboo uprights and cross pieces. The woman surrounded by colourful plastic jugs is filling them by scooping water to take to where the cement is being mixed. You cannot miss the look of pride as Martin Cardoza regards a new column that will give stability to his son’s home.
