South Surrey Extreme Weather Night Time Shelter Is Open

Wonderful News:

The South Surrey Extreme Weather Shelter Nighttime site is now at the South Surrey Recreation and Arts Centre: 14601 20^th Ave, Hours are 10 pm to 7 am.

It will open if the weather is “feels like” 0 or below, there is excessive rain or extreme wind.

Please call/text 211 to ask if it is open.

Volunteers are welcome to help provide clothing, restaurant meals and other supports.

Donations - Limited space: Socks, warm toques, waterproof gloves, hand warmers, rain ponchos, toiletries

Drop off location: Peace Portal Alliance Church 15128 27B (King George/152nd) Mon - Thurs 9-4.

The White Rock Daytime Warming Centre will be open daily from November 27- March 8 in the Centennial Park parking lot. 

There is transit between the two sites as needed.

We are very thankful to the Cities of White Rock and  Surrey for providing a safe, warm refuge for our neighbours experiencing homelessness.
