Are you interested in visiting Tierra Nueva, our partner community in El Salvador? We are assessing interest in a visit in October, 2025.

Here are some details:

  • Length: between 7 and 14 days
  • Late October 2025
  • Two visits to the community
  • Celebrate 30th anniversary of being on the land in Tierra Nueva
  • Visits to significant religious, historical and cultural sites in San Salvador
  • Possibility of a 5-day build with Habitat for Humanity (this would account for the longer range of days in the country) 
  • Pre-trip study of Spanish is recommended
  • Pre-trip gatherings will provide background information on our partnership, the history of the country, and travel advice
