Good Friday News from El Salvador

Friends this is worth reading in its totality. Wendy and José of Fundahmer powerfully articulate the hopes and concerns that are so similar to ours. Their faith comes shining through. 

"Happy Monday of Easter. We hope that despite the social distancing and hygiene measures that we must take for our health, we haven’t avoided celebrating Palm Sunday yesterday, strengthening our faith from our homes and with our families.

We are living through quite difficult moments, in which we had not previously experienced it before, but we know that our faith will remain strong, helping us to pray for the world situation to improve and for those who have the opportunity to do so, helping those who are less fortunate in our countries, for lack of homes and food, to relieve their suffering a little.

Tell you that we are still in home quarantine. No one works in person, except for the health area, restaurants (with food only to take away and home delivery), pharmacies, government, military and the police, supermarkets, among a few others...."
